Warley Borough v Celtic Athletic


We were hoping for Celtic to start the game off brighter than of late & after 4 minutes Charlie tried to lob the keeper from just out side the box only to see the ball go wide, moments later Warley tried to clear the ball but Chaz won it just inside the center circle he looked wide & seeing Mattie flying down the right wing he played a ball that split the defence & while still in full flight Mattie shot for goal & was rewarded with a ball that smashed into the top right hand corner of the goal.Great goal Mat ,Warley 0 v Celtic 1 .
A few minuets later Jordan put Charlie through & not needing a second invitation he drove for the line & crossed the ball into the 6 yard box were Chaz put it into the back of the net,well taken mate & a lovely bit of work between the three of you.Warley 0 v Celtic 2 .
After that we went back The Celtic of the last 4 games a team looking half asleep , a team thinking its job had been done.Just before the half time whistle Jay was injured & was replaced by Kalem.

We need to stop making things hard for ourselves by passing the ball to another Celtic player & not one of theirs , simple you would think. With ten minutes gone of the 2nd half Celtic continued to make life difficult for themselves by passing the ball to the opposition.
Celtics 3rd goal came when Mattie crossed the ball to the far side of the box to Chaz who laid the ball of to Demarco who just on the edge of the box fired for goal with his left & beat the Keeper.Nice goal lads.Warley 0 v Celtic 3 . 15 minuets in & a change for Celtic off Charlie on Jake. Within minutes of coming on Jake passed the ball to Chaz who was just inside the box he then passed to Demarco who was in the 6 yard box with his back to goal,Demarco held the ball up dropped his shoulder & turned his marker & slipped the ball into the net for his 2nd & Celtics 4.Good bit of strength mate . Warley 0 v Celtic 4 . Shortly after Warley lost the ball just outside our box & a long ball through found Demarco who tried to chip the keeper only to see it bounce off the cross bar. The last 10 minutes of the game were a little better we at least put Warley under some pressure,Jordan winning the ball just inside the Warley half played a great ball through to Chaz just outside the box who fired off a quick shot for goal only to see it go just wide ,(best pass of the game) well done Jordan & unlucky Chaz great effort.Shortly after the ref blew for full time.
